Maserati vehicle Capacity Weight (VCW) on the tire label may state incorrect information.
The short version
Maserati North America, Inc. reported a problem with the other labels. Here is what owners need to know.
The Vehicle Capacity Weight (VCW) on the tire label may state incorrect information. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims."
A vehicle with an incorrect maximum capacity weight value may be overloaded, which can increase the risk of a crash.
Take it to a dealer — they will install corrected labels, free of charge.
