Motiv Power Systems wiring harness may be missing a heat shrink insulator and retention clip.
The short version
Motiv Power Systems reported a problem with the electrical system wiring. Here is what owners need to know.
The wiring harness may be missing a heat shrink insulator and retention clip. The 12-volt control wires may deteriorate and loosen, causing a loss of connection to the high voltage (HV) batteries and drive power.
A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.
Motiv field support technicians will inspect and correct any loose wiring, and replace damaged 12-volt control wires, free of charge.
