Royal Enfield side and rear reflectors are not sufficient.
The short version
Royal Enfield North America Limited reported a problem with the exterior lighting. Here is what owners need to know.
The side and rear reflectors are not sufficient. As such, these lights fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
Without the proper reflective equipment, it may be difficult for other road users to see the motorcycle from the rear or side, increasing the risk of a crash.
Take it to a dealer — they will replace the side and rear reflectors, free of charge.
