The short version

Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. reported a problem with the sensing system camera. Here is what owners need to know.

WHAT

WHY IT MATTERS

A blank rearview camera display can reduce the driver's rear visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.

WHAT TO DO

Take it to a dealer — they will replace the peripheral camera control module, free of charge.
