Forest River taillights may overheat and fail to illuminate.
The short version
Forest River, Inc. reported a problem with the exterior lighting tail lights. Here is what owners need to know.
The taillights may overheat and fail to illuminate. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
Inoperative taillights can reduce the vehicle's visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.
Take it to a dealer — they will replace the taillights, free of charge.
