The short version

Orange EV reported a problem with the structure frame and members. Here is what owners need to know.

WHAT

The end of the beavertail frame may obstruct the center of the reverse lights. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

WHY IT MATTERS

Obstructed reverse lights can reduce the vehicle's visibility to pedestrians or other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.

WHAT TO DO

Orange EV will replace and relocate the reverse lights, free of charge.
