Blue Bird due to incorrect wiring, the high and low beams are reversed, causing the high beam indicator to illuminate incorrectly.
The short version
Blue Bird Body Company reported a problem with the exterior lighting headlights. Here is what owners need to know.
Due to incorrect wiring, the high and low beams are reversed, causing the high beam indicator to illuminate incorrectly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
The operator may inadvertently activate the high beams, affecting the vision of other drivers and increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy is currently under development, free of charge.
