Palfinger outer rear marker lights were installed in the incorrect location.
The short version
Palfinger, Inc. reported a problem with the exterior lighting. Here is what owners need to know.
The outer rear marker lights were installed in the incorrect location. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
Incorrectly positioned lights can reduce the vehicle's visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.
Take it to a dealer — they will install a steel plate and relocate the lights, free of charge.
