The short version

Shyft Group reported a problem with the exterior lighting headlights. Here is what owners need to know.

WHAT

The headlight horizontal adjustment stud is missing a cover, allowing for horizontal adjustment of the headlight beam. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

WHY IT MATTERS

Adjusting the horizontal headlight beam can create a glare, or reduce visibility for the driver, increasing the risk of a crash.

WHAT TO DO

Take it to a dealer — they will install a cover over the horizontal adjustment studs, free of charge.
