Nissan driver's seat frame may not be fully secured to the outer side of the seat track.
The short version
Nissan North America, Inc. reported a problem with the seats. Here is what owners need to know.
The driver's seat frame may not be fully secured to the outer side of the seat track. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 207, "Seating Systems," and 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages."
An unsecured driver's seat may not adequately restrain the driver during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
Take it to a dealer — they will inspect and replace the driver's side lower seat frame assembly as necessary, free of charge.
