Jayco incorrect standard outlet was installed in the kitchen instead of a gfci protected outlet.
The short version
Jayco, Inc. reported a problem with the accessory generator outlets/receptacle. Here is what owners need to know.
An incorrect standard outlet was installed in the kitchen instead of a GFCI protected outlet.
A lack of proper circuit protection increases the risk of electric shock and injury.
Take it to a dealer — they will replace the Non-GFCI breaker with a GFCI breaker at the load center for the proper circuit protection at the kitchen outlet, free of charge.
