Chrysler due to a manufacturing error, the rearview camera image may not display.
The short version
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) reported a problem with the appliance tv/radio/speakers. Here is what owners need to know.
Due to a manufacturing error, the rearview camera image may not display. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility."
A rearview image that does not display reduces the driver's view of what is behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Take it to a dealer — they will inspect and replace the rearview camera, as necessary free of charge.
