The short version

Autocar, LLC reported a problem with the supply reservoir/tank. Here is what owners need to know.

WHAT

The air tanks have an insufficient volume of air for the brake system. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 121, "Air Brake Systems."

WHY IT MATTERS

Insufficient air volume can reduce brake function, extending the distance required to stop and increasing the risk of a crash.

WHAT TO DO

Take it to a dealer — they will inspect and replace or add additional air tanks as necessary, free of charge.
