The short version

Suzuki Motor USA, LLC reported a problem with the exterior lighting headlights. Here is what owners need to know.

WHAT

The upper headlight beam may be too bright and exceed the maximum light output, which may adversely affect the vision of the driver. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

WHY IT MATTERS

Headlights that are excessively bright can reduce visibility for oncoming drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.

WHAT TO DO

Take it to a dealer — they will replace the headlight assembly, free of charge.
