The short version

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) reported a problem with the tires pressure monitoring and regulating systems. Here is what owners need to know.

WHAT

The remote start antenna cable may be pinched, which can cause the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) warning light not to illuminate as intended. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 138, "Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems."

WHY IT MATTERS

A TPMS warning light that fails to notify the driver of a problem increases the risk of a crash.

WHAT TO DO

Take it to a dealer — they will inspect and replace the remote start antenna cable as necessary, free of charge.
