Forest River federal Placard label may have the incorrect axle capacity listed, causing the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (gvwr) and Cargo Carrying Capacity (ccc) to have been miscalculated.
The short version
Forest River, Inc. reported a problem with the other labels. Here is what owners need to know.
The Federal Placard label may have the incorrect axle capacity listed, causing the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) and Cargo Carrying Capacity (CCC) to have been miscalculated. As such these vehicles fail to comply with the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No.
Referencing the incorrect GVWR and CCC may allow the vehicle to be overloaded, increasing the risk of a crash.
Take it to a dealer — they will replace the label, free of charge.
