The short version

Remote Vans reported a problem with the storage tank assembly. Here is what owners need to know.

WHAT

Optional equipment may cause the motorhome to exceed Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) when carrying the maximum number of occupants. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 110, “Tire Selection and Rims” and 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification."

WHY IT MATTERS

An overloaded motorhome increases the risk of a crash.

WHAT TO DO

Take it to a dealer — they will replace the extended range fuel tank with a standard fuel tank and remove the skid plates and expedition box on Aegis motorhomes and issue new OCCC labels, free of charge.
