Lamborghini software error may deactivate the rearview camera image, resulting in the image not displaying.
The short version
Lamborghini (Automobili Lamborghini) reported a problem with the sensing system camera. Here is what owners need to know.
A software error may deactivate the rearview camera image, resulting in the image not displaying. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 111, "Rear Visibility."
A rearview image that does not display reduces the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Take it to a dealer — they will update the parking assist software, free of charge.
