Fly E-Bike rear wheel hub may be missing the DOT marking.
The short version
FWMOTO INC. reported a problem with the wheels hub. Here is what owners need to know.
The rear wheel hub may be missing the DOT marking. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 123, "Motorcycle Controls and Displays."
The wheel hub may be improperly assembled or installed without the proper markings to identify the part, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
FLYE will replace the rear wheel hub, free of charge, or repurchase the vehicle.
