Orange Ev driver's side door handles may be missing a lock.
The short version
Orange EV reported a problem with the doors lock. Here is what owners need to know.
The driver's side door handles may be missing a lock. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 206, "Door Locks and Door Retention Components."
A door that cannot be locked may open unexpectedly during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
OEV field service will replace the door handles, free of charge.
