Jayco occupant and Cargo Carrying Capacity (occc) and Tire Loading Information labels state an incorrect number of seat belt equipped seating positions, which can result in unbelted passengers.
The short version
Jayco, Inc. reported a problem with the other labels. Here is what owners need to know.
The Occupant and Cargo Carrying Capacity (OCCC) and Tire Loading Information labels state an incorrect number of seat belt equipped seating positions, which can result in unbelted passengers. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 110, “Tire Selection and Rims.”
Unbelted passengers may not be properly restrained in a crash, increasing their risk of injury.
Jayco will mail corrected labels, free of charge.
