Shyft Group gross Vehicle Weight Rating (gvwr) listed on the certification label may be incorrect.
The short version
Shyft Group reported a problem with the other labels. Here is what owners need to know.
The Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) listed on the certification label may be incorrect. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification."
Referencing the incorrect GVWR may lead to unintentionally overloading the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Shyft will install new labels, free of charge.
