Grand Design Rv driver and passenger seat bases may have not been tightened properly.
The short version
Grand Design RV, LLC reported a problem with the seats critical fasteners. Here is what owners need to know.
The driver and passenger seat bases may have not been tightened properly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 207, “Seating Systems.”
A loose base may allow the seat to move during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
Take it to a dealer — they will inspect and properly tighten the seat bases as necessary, free of charge.
