Novabus driver's speaker hole door may have been built with the prime glazing manufacturer DOT code mark missing.
The short version
Nova Bus (US) Inc. reported a problem with the visibility glass, side/rear. Here is what owners need to know.
The driver's speaker hole door may have been built with the prime glazing manufacturer DOT code mark missing. As such, these vehicles fail to conform to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 205, "Glazing Materials."
A missing DOT code mark may result in the door being replaced with the incorrect type of plastic, reducing visibility and increasing the risk of a crash.
Nova Bus will replace the plastic panel door, free of charge.
