Wabash National Corporation conspicuity tape may not have been installed.
The short version
Wabash National Corporation reported a problem with the exterior lighting. Here is what owners need to know.
The conspicuity tape may not have been installed. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
Missing conspicuity tape can reduce the visibility of the trailer to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.
Wabash will provide the conspicuity tape, free of charge.
