Jayco taillight warning light may incorrectly illuminate on the instrument panel display when the taillights are functioning correctly.
The short version
Jayco, Inc. reported a problem with the electrical system instrument cluster/panel. Here is what owners need to know.
The taillight warning light may incorrectly illuminate on the instrument panel display when the taillights are functioning correctly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 101, "Controls and Displays."
The incorrect warning light may fail to alert the driver to critical safety information or cause confusion, increasing the risk of a crash.
Take it to a dealer — they will replace the taillight harness, free of charge.
