Yamaha turn signal lights may fail to operate when activated.
The short version
Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA reported a problem with the exterior lighting turn signal. Here is what owners need to know.
The turn signal lights may fail to operate when activated. As such, these motorcycles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
Turn signals that do not function properly may fail to indicate the rider's intention to change direction, increasing the risk of a crash.
Yamaha will replace the meter assembly, free of charge.
