Heartland gross Axle Weight Rating (gawr) listed on the certification label may be incorrect.
The short version
Jayco, Inc. reported a problem with the other labels. Here is what owners need to know.
The Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) listed on the certification label may be incorrect. As such, these trailers fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 567, "Certification."
Referencing the incorrect weight could result in the trailer being overloaded, increasing the risk of a crash.
Jayco will mail replacement labels to owners, free of charge.
