Winnebago Industries rear Gross Axle Weight Rating (gawr) and cold tire inflation listed on the federal placard is incorrect.
The short version
Winnebago Industries, Inc. reported a problem with the other labels. Here is what owners need to know.
The rear Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) and cold tire inflation listed on the federal placard is incorrect. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 120, "Wheels and Rims - Other than Passenger Cars."
An incorrect GAWR and cold tire inflation combination can lead to unintentionally overloading the tires, increasing the risk of a crash.
Winnebago will mail out corrected labels, free of charge.
