Check your VIN

What to email about

  • A recall record that looks wrong — include the campaign number (e.g. 26V-441) and what looks off. See Methodology for how corrections work.
  • A VIN check that looks wrong — include the VIN (it is fine to send a VIN by email) and what the check showed versus what you expected.
  • A question about the site — privacy, data, anything on these pages.

What to expect

Email is read by the person who runs the site. There is no support team and no promised response time — but every message is read.

What not to send

A VIN is fine. Never send payment information, ID documents, or anything else sensitive — this site will never ask for any of that.

If your vehicle has an urgent safety problem

Do not wait on email. If a recall says DO NOT DRIVE or PARK OUTSIDE, follow that instruction now, and contact your dealer or NHTSA directly.
