The short version

Kovatch Mobile Equipment Corp. reported a problem with the siren/lighting/strobes controls. Here is what owners need to know.

WHAT

A node may become unresponsive and cause a loss of functionality of connected components, such as exterior lighting and pump-mode.

WHY IT MATTERS

A loss of exterior lights can reduce the visibility of the vehicle to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash. A loss of pump-mode function may prevent or delay the use of emergency equipment, increasing the risk of injury.

WHAT TO DO

KME will work with Fire Research Corporation to replace the node, free of charge.
