The short version
Spartan Fire, LLC reported a problem with the siren/lighting/strobes controls. Here is what owners need to know.
Spartan Fire, LLC (Spartan) is recalling one 2024 Metrostar emergency vehicle. A node may become unresponsive and cause a loss of functionality of connected components, such as exterior lighting and pump-mode.
A loss of exterior lights can reduce the visibility of the vehicle to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash. A loss of pump-mode function may prevent or delay the use of emergency equipment, increasing the risk of injury.
Spartan Fire will work with Fire Research Corporation to replace the I/O Nodes, free of charge.
